Valentine’s Day Post 2026
Relationships are hard. Don’t fret if you happen to not be in an intimate and/or committed one now. In my opinion with everything going on in the world, this is the best time to be single. Being single to me means to have no distractions. I’m a female Aquarius. So being in a relationship for me can be very draining because we’re known for adapting our lives for our loved ones. I’m currently “happily single”. I’ve been free to do what I want when I want without having to “check in” with a male significant other. I do have some stories to tell about my past relationships, though.
When I met my now ex-husband, we were dating for some time. It came to the point that I told him to “put up or shut up”. Well obviously, he couldn’t “put up” because we’re divorced. I had certain rules and guidelines of what I was looking for in a husband. He couldn’t follow them. There were so many signs that told me that he wasn’t “the one” but I ignored them. I settled for less. I have no regrets, though. I have a beautiful daughter from the relationship, and I’m content with our current situation.
For me, I can’t see myself getting married again. I refuse to compromise my space for a man again. I like that it’s just my daughter and me at home. It’s a girl’s house where we can be FREE to dress and look any way we want any time of the day. It’s the best environment for us. But I will never say never. I am back in the dating pool so there are some learning lessons from my past experiences…..
This blog will be an open discussion blog about “love” and romance. It will be open to anyone who wants to vent and/or give advice to others. I will be posting my opinions as well. I’m looking forward to opening up this forum to all who are interested.
